# Leerdam Tour: a historic AR city walk through the glass city of Leerdam

<h2>Walk at your own pace</h2><p>On an interactive map you follow the full route or pick individual locations. GPS shows where you are and which way you are facing.</p><h2>Augmented reality at the hotspots</h2><ul><li>P.M. Cochius, former director of the glass factory and founder of the National Glass Museum, appears digitally in front of you and talks about glass design.</li><li>Paintings come to life: Mrs Van Aerden explains why she had her almshouse built in the eighteenth century.</li><li>The historic Steigerpoort city gate stands at full scale in its old spot once more.</li></ul><h2>Content management in your own hands</h2><p>The app runs on the CTXR platform.
